Rachel Zegler Just Went Public With Her New Broadway Beau, and the Opening Night Sweetness Has Everyone Talking

Broadway has a brand new couple to obsess over, and this time Rachel Zegler is not exactly being subtle about it. The 25 year old West Side Story star showed up in full support mode for her new beau, British actor Bradley Jaden, at the sold out first preview of his new musical Wanted on Thursday, October 15. And according to everyone who was there, she was not just sitting quietly in the audience.

Zegler was spotted in the crowd at the James Earl Jones Theatre in New York, cheering on Jaden as he made his Broadway debut. Then, after the final bow, she joined him at a cast party at the Levi’s store in Times Square, where the two reportedly could not be separated for a single moment.

The Opening Night That Made It Official

Wanted is the new Western themed musical where Jaden, 39, plays hotel owner Jesse Whitewater. The first preview was packed, the energy was high, and right in the middle of it all was Rachel Zegler, showing up for the man in her life.

After the show, the pair headed to the Levi’s store in Times Square for the cast party, and that is where the romance rumors turned into something that looked a whole lot like the real thing. A spy told Page Six that the two were inseparable all night.

“They were together the whole night,” the source said. “They were joined at the hip. She was very enamored with him. She was clearly there celebrating him and the show.”

The couple danced together alongside other cast members, including Solea Pfeiffer, Liisi LaFontaine, and Grammy nominee Luke James. By all accounts, it was a full celebration, and Zegler was clearly there for one person in particular.

Opening night is scheduled for November 8, and if this preview was any indication, Zegler will be right back in that audience, front and center, cheering the loudest.

How It All Started in the West Village

This was not the first time the two were spotted together. Back at the end of September, photos emerged of Zegler holding hands with the West End actor in the West Village in New York City. The pair looked comfortable and close, walking hand in hand through the city, and romance rumors started swirling immediately.

At the time, neither of them commented. But three weeks later, with Zegler showing up to not one but two sold out previews of Wanted, the picture is getting very clear. This is not a casual friendship. This is a theater kid romance in full bloom.

So, Who Exactly Is Bradley Jaden?

If you are deep in the musical theater world, the name Bradley Jaden already means something. The British actor has built an impressive career on the West End, and his resume reads like a greatest hits of musical theater.

Jaden has played both Javert and Enjolras in Les Misérables, Fiyero in Wicked, Lancelot in Camelot, and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera. He trained at the Guildford School of Acting before breaking into professional theater, and he has spent years crisscrossing the world with major productions, including the Les Misérables Arena Concert Spectacular world tour, where he played Javert at Radio City.

On screen, he has picked up television credits including EastEnders, Emmerdale, and Sugar Rush. But his home has always been the stage, and Wanted marks his big Broadway debut as Jesse Whitewater.

For a guy who has played some of the most iconic roles in musical theater, Broadway was the one stage left to conquer. And he had a pretty great cheerleader in the audience for the first step.

Rachel’s Theater Kid Love Story

This pairing makes perfect sense when you know Rachel Zegler’s history. She has always been a theater kid at heart, and she has a well documented pattern of falling for fellow performers.

Her longest public relationship was with her West Side Story co-star Josh Andrés Rivera. The two met while working on Steven Spielberg’s 2019 remake, dated from 2021 to 2024, and later co-starred together in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. When that ended, she was briefly linked to Evita backup dancer Nathan Louis-Fernand in 2025, a romance that appeared to have fizzled out by March 2026.

Zegler herself shot to fame overnight, going from a New Jersey high school student posting singing videos online to landing the lead in a Spielberg film. Since then she has headlined Snow White and Shazam: Fury of the Gods, but the stage is where she seems to feel most at home.

She just wrapped a hit West End run, and she is already booked to return to Broadway, playing Eva Perón in a Jamie Lloyd production of Evita at the Winter Garden Theatre beginning February 27. Theater is her world, and now it looks like she has found someone who lives in it too.

Why This Pairing Just Works

There is something genuinely charming about this romance. These are two people who understand the grind of eight shows a week, the thrill of an opening night, and the nerves of a first preview in front of a packed house. They speak the same language.

Zegler has kept her personal life relatively private despite her fame, so the fact that she showed up so visibly at Wanted’s first preview says a lot. She did not sneak in through a side door. She was there, in the crowd, and then at the party, celebrating the man she is dating with zero pretense.

Jaden, for his part, is at a career high. A Broadway debut is a huge deal for any theater actor, and doing it with a star like Zegler in your corner cannot hurt. The Wanted run is just getting started, with previews now underway and opening night set for November 8.

What Comes Next

If history is any guide, this couple is about to become a fixture of the New York theater scene. Zegler’s own Broadway return as Eva Perón starts in February, which means the two of them will both be on Broadway stages at the same time, practically neighbors in the theater district.

For now, fans are just enjoying the sweet details. The hand holding in the West Village. The front row support at the first preview. The dancing at the cast party. Sometimes the simplest love stories are the best ones, and this one is playing out like a Broadway musical all its own.
